ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 29 -- Guy C. Fedorkow of Bedford, Mass., Kenneth H. Potter, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., Mark A. Gustlin of Campbell, Calif., Christopher J. Kappler of Waltham, Mass., and Robert T. Olsen of Dublin, Calif., have developed a method for hierarchical flow control for router atm interfaces. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,606,158 on Oct. 20.

The patent has been assigned to Cisco Technology Inc., San Jose, Calif.
