GENEVA, Oct. 29 -- Norbert Beaujot, Canada, has developed a residue clearing for agricultural implements.
The patent has been assigned to STRAW TRACK MANUFACTURING INC., Saskatchewan, Canada.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "A residue clearing apparatus is adapted to be mounted on an agricultural implement that includes a ground engaging shank where in operation the shank contacts straws on a field surface such that straws bend around the shank and form a clump of bent straws lodged on the shank, and wherein a first portion of the clump is located on a first side of a centerline of the shank and a second portion of the clump is located on a ...
