GENEVA, Oct. 29 -- Herwig Bernaert and Leen Allegaert, both of Belgium, have developed a composition and uses thereof.
The patent has been assigned to BARRY CALLEBAUT AG, Zurich, Switzerland.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "A composition for topical application to the skin comprises a cocoa polyphenol extract in combination with an SUS-rich fat, wherein the cocoa polyphenol extract is present in an amount of less than 15% by weight based on the weight of the SUS-rich fat, and a cosmetically acceptable carrier.
