ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 30 -- Ching-Yung Lin and Belle L. Tseng, both of Forest Hills, N.Y., Apostol Natsev of White Plains, N.Y., Milind R. Naphade of Fishkill, N.Y., and John R. Smith of New York, have developed a multi-modal fusion in content-based retrieval. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,610,306 on Oct. 27.

The patent has been assigned to International Business Machines Corp., Armonk, N.Y.
