ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 30 -- Peter-Pike J. Sloan of Bellevue, Wash., John M. Snyder of Redmond, Wash., and Jan Kautz of Saarbruecken, Germany, have developed a graphics image rendering with radiance self-transfer for low-frequency lighting environments. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,609,265 on Oct. 27.

The patent has been assigned to Microsoft Corp., Redmond.
