ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 30 -- Benny J. Williams of Godley, Texas, and Mark William Mahoney of Granbury, Texas, have developed a wear rings for downhole pump. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,607,901 on Oct. 27.
The patent has been assigned to Harbison-Fischer Inc., Crowley, Texas.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A downhole pump for a well has a barrel and a plunger. The barrel has a passage extending along the length of the barrel, with the passage having an inside diameter.
