ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 30 -- Frank Shinn of Fuquay Varina, N.C., Edward J. Kapturowski of Apex, N.C., and Walter S. Conard of Lake Villa, Ill., have developed a method for maintaining the density of grouped sheet articles. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,607,653 on Oct. 27.
The patent has been assigned to Bowe Bell + Howell Co., Durham, N.C.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods are provided for maintaining density and positioning of a grouped sheet articles, such as for feeding of sheet articles from or into the group.
