GENEVA, Oct. 30 -- Shigeo Kamamoto and Kozue Matsumoto, both of Japan, have developed a power transmitting chain and power transmitting device with the same.
The patent has been assigned to Jtekt Corp., Osaka, Japan.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "A power transmitting chain in which the rigidity of connection between pins and pulleys is increased and play of the pins when the pins engage with the pulleys is reduced, which produces less drive noise, and which has improved practical durability.
