GENEVA, Oct. 30 -- Kainin So, China, has developed a foot casting system.
The patent has been assigned to Marco Skates Ltd., Hongkong.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "A method for making a cast of a foot comprises: mutually interconnecting a pair of housing parts to define a moulding cavity about a foot/a lower leg; providing a sole support member in a lower portion of the moulding cavity having an upper surface contoured to engage the sole of the foot/the lower leg; inserting the foot/the lower leg into the moulding cavity; pouring a flowable moulding material into the moulding cavity about the foot/the lower leg and allowing it to ...
