ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 29 -- The New Mexico Lottery issued the following news release:
To warm up the holidays for Scratcher players, the New Mexico Lottery is bringing back sultry cartoon sweetheart "Betty Boop."
Available now, the $2-game offers six ticket scenes depicting the bobbed and baubled beauty enjoying a variety of holiday amusements such as joyriding in Santa's sleigh and flirting mercilessly with a melting snowman. The Betty Boop Scratcher features top prizes of $20,000.
Betty Boop Scratchers are tops with New Mexico Lottery players. Of the 150 $2-games offered by the lottery since 1996, the four best sellers have featured Ms. Boop.
