WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- The office of Sen. Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., issued the following news release:
United States Senator Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., today secured approximately $4.1 million in water infrastructure and conservation projects in the Fiscal Year 2010 Interior Appropriations House-Senate Conference Report, which the Senate approved by a vote of 72-28.
"This funding will provide critical aid to Louisiana communities for a range of projects, including water treatment, sewage facilities and coastal restoration," said Sen. Landrieu. "This federal support is much-need as our state works to protect our natural resources and strengthen water management."
