Article: STRUCTRURE FIRE AT 918 SALUDA COURT

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Oct. 30 -- The city of Chapel Hill issued the following press release:

At 5:53 p.m. on Oct. 29, the Chapel Hill Fire Department responded to an apartment complex fire at 918 Saluda Court, The Pointe at Chapel Hill. The initial response consisted of seven Chapel Hill fire apparatus with a total of 19 personnel. Chapel Hill Police Department and Orange County EMS also responded.

Engine 32, the first unit on scene, reported smoke showing from the 20 unit apartment building. A resident of the apartment told firefighters that a pot of oil had caught fire on the stove.
