ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 31 -- Andreas Baatz of Sauensiek, Germany, Michael Supan of Jork, Germany, and Frank Klepka of Berlin, have developed a passenger seat unit, in particular for commercial aircraft. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,607,612 on Oct. 27.

The patent has been assigned to Airbus Deutschland GmbH, Germany.
