ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 31 -- Wouter Van Praag of Kapellen, Belgium, and Paul Emmanuel Philomena Verbraeken of Edegem, Belgium, have developed a compressor with capacity control. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,607,899 on Oct. 27.
The patent has been assigned to Atlas Copco Airpower naamloze vennootschap, Wilrijk, Belgium.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compressor containing a pressure regulating system comprising an inlet valve; a piston in a cylinder connected thereto; a bridge of this inlet valve with a non-return valve in it, characterized in that the piston is a double-acting piston; the cylinder on the side of the piston turned ...
