LONDON, Oct. 31 -- United Kingdom office of Public Sector information issues Statutory Instruments (2009 No. 753) on "The Official Statistics Order 2009."

This Order is made by the Minister for the Cabinet Office in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(1)(b) and (2) of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 made the regulation on March 19.

According to the regulation:

Citation and Commencement

1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Official Statistics Order 2009.

(2) This Order comes into force on 1st April 2009 or, if made on or after that date, the day after it is made.

Revocation

2. The Official Statistics Order 2008(2) is revoked.
