YUMA, Ariz., Nov. 2 -- The city of Yuma issued the following news release:
On Monday November 2, 2009 just before 9:30 am, a report was received of a citrus worker being attacked by a swarm of bees in the area of Engler Avenue and San Marcos Drive. Yuma Fire Department personnel arriving on the scene found that the attack had occurred in a citrus grove along Avenue 2 1/2 E and located the male victim near there. He was treated at the scene for multiple bee stings and transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
