CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, N.J., Nov. 2 -- Cape May County issued the following news release:
Freeholder Director Daniel Beyel announced that Cape May County has received a grant from the Federal Highway Administration for the rehabilitation and widening project of the Avalon Boulevard (County Road No. 601) Bridge over the Avalon Canal. This approximately $3.3 million project was identified by South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization for federal funding through the Fiscal Year 2009 Surface Transportation Program.
The forty-two year old bridge is adjacent to the traffic signal at the intersection of Avalon Boulevard, 30th Street and Ocean Drive (CR619) in Avalon. County Engineer Dale ...
