Article: UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY OF NEW JERSEY SHOWS STUDENTS HOW TO BE 'OCTORS FOR DAY'

NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 2 -- University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey issued the following news release:

Youngsters from throughout the state in grades 5-12 became "Doctors for a Day" on Sunday, October 25, during a unique program co-sponsored by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Liberty Science Center. Students and professionals in the health care field provided hands-on workshops and activities encouraging young people from all different backgrounds to pursue careers in science, medicine and dentistry. The event was timed to coincide with National Make a Difference Day.
