ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 4 -- Kenneth F. Defreitas and Thomas A. Farbizio, both of Patterson, N.Y., Roman Janer of Englewood, Colo., Georgia Hitzke of Boston, and Anthony Pellegrino of New Fairfield, Conn., have developed a mammography system. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,609,806 on Oct. 27.

The patent has been assigned to Hologic Inc., Bedford, Mass.
