ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 4 -- James Norris Dieffenderfer of Apex, N.C., Thomas Andrew Sartorius of Raleigh, N.C., Thomas Philip Speier of Holly Springs, N.C., and Richard Gerard Hofmann of Cary, N.C., have developed a method and apparatus for performing an atomic semaphore operation. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,610,463 on Oct. 27.
The patent has been assigned to QUALCOMM Inc., San Diego.
