ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 4 -- William Gatti of Sandy, Utah, and R. Talley Goodson of Salt Lake City, have developed a variable angle standoff. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,607,854 on Oct. 27.
The patent has been assigned to 3form Inc., Salt Lake City.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A variable angle standoff in accordance with an implementation of the present invention includes one or more bearing interfaces, which, in concert with other beveled components (e.g., beveled rings), fastens about a wide range of panel and/or object dimensions.
