ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 4 -- Ken Takehara of Nagoya, Japan, Akifumi Hosoya of Anjo, Japan, and Takashi Hirabayashi of Chita-gun, Japan, have developed an automotive engine starter and electric rotary machine. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,608,956 on Oct. 27.

The patent has been assigned to Denso Corp., Kariya, Japan.
