ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 4 -- Tohru Kanegae, Masanori Nakahara, Takeshi Koda, Yasuko Fukuda, Takao Sawabe, Nobuyuki Takakuwa and Akira Imamura, all from Tokorozawa, Japan, have developed an information recording medium. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,613,078 on Nov. 3.

The patent has been assigned to Pioneer Corp., Tokyo.
