ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 4 -- Steven C. Drees of Stevensville, Mich., and William J. Bigge of St. Joseph, Mich., have developed a in-door coffee maker for refrigerators. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,610,849 on Nov. 3.
The patent has been assigned to Whirlpool Corp., Benton Harbor, Mich.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A refrigerator has a cabinet including a refrigeration compartment and a supply of water in the cabinet, with a door attached to the cabinet to selectively open and close access to the refrigeration compartment.
