GENEVA, Nov. 4 -- Melissa Koenig and Mark Buchanan, both of United States of America, have developed a dual clutch transmission having simplified controls.
The patent has been assigned to Borgwarner Inc., Auburn Hills, Mich.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "A dual clutch transmission having a plurality of forward gears and at least one reverse gear where the first gear is operatively engaged by a one-way clutch.
