INDIANAPOLIS,Nov. 4 -- The Indiana Economic Development Corporationissued the following news release:
Governor Mitch Daniels honored 97 Indiana companies for longevity and community service today by awarding them the Governor's Century or Half Century Business Awards during an Indiana Statehouse ceremony.
A total of 28 Indiana companies received Century Awards for being in business a minimum of 100 consecutive years. Sixty nine Hoosier companies received Half Century Awards, for operating for a minimum of 50 years. Lt. Governor Becky Skillman and Secretary of Commerce Mitch Roob joined Daniels in honoring the Indiana companies.
