UNITED NATIONS, Nov. 2 -- The United Nations Economic and Social Council's Economic Commission for Africa issued the following news release:
About 50 experts in HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria who met here last week at the 3rd inter-agency meeting on coordination and harmonization of HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria Strategies, have agreed on broad steps for the final push for action for achieving the Abuja Call for Universal Access to HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria Services by 2010.
The meeting was co-organized by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), the African Union Commission and UNAIDS, with the support of the World Health organization, and attended by UN agencies, civil society groups, regional ...
