NEW HAVEN, Conn., Nov. 3-- The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for Connecticut issued the following press release:
Nora R. Dannehy, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that SHAMAR A. THORNTON, also known as "Jaravaughn Thornton" and "Chamar Thornton," 28, last residing on Nahum Drive in Hartford, was sentenced yesterday, November 2, by Chief United States District Judge Alvin W. Thompson in Hartford to 80 months of imprisonment, followed by six years of supervised release.
