WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 -- The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee issued the following news release:
Chairman Edolphus "Ed" Towns (D-NY) today released a letter that denounces efforts by committee Republicans to spread misinformation about the effects of proposed health care legislation on federal employees. Republicans are launching a baseless attack on H.R. 3962, the "Affordable Health Care for America Act," as the House nears a vote on this monumental legislation.
