JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., Nov. 5 -- The Missouri Department of Revenue issued the following news release:

Management contracts for seven more local motor vehicle and license offices were awarded today using a reformed process that allows both incumbent agents and challengers to compete to operate the offices.

"Customer service and financial efficiencies are the top criteria of the new system," said Gov. Jay Nixon. "I made the reform of the awarding of license offices one of my top priorities, and we have come a long way in a short time."

The seven offices awarded today are in Monroe City, North St. Louis County, Owensville, Paris, Princeton, Sarcoxie and Wentzville. All of the offices will ...
