ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 5 -- The city of Ann Arbor issued the following news release:
Ann Arbor's trash, recycling, compost collection programs and the Drop-Off Station at 2950 E. Ellsworth Road will provide services without interruption on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009. City Hall offices, only, will be closed on the Wednesday holiday.
The weekly curbside collection of residential yard waste "compostables" ends Saturday, Nov. 28 following the Thanksgiving holiday. The city's street leaf pickups are scheduled for two remaining neighborhoods in December, as listed at www.a2gov.org/leaves.
