CEDAR CITY, Utah, Nov. 5 -- Southern Utah University issued the following news release:
War veterans of the United States of America will be honored in Southern Utah University's 22nd Annual Veterans Day Observance Program. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 11 at 11 a.m. in the Sharwan Smith Center Ballroom. The public is encouraged to attend this event in honor of the veterans' service to our country.
While honoring the service of all veterans, the program will specifically recognize a few individuals close to home. This year's honorees include WWII veteran Kent "Red" Dover, a lifelong Cedar City resident and an alumnus of SUU; the late J. Travis Nelson, Red's nephew and ...
