Article: UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL OKLAHOMA 'S INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVISER ELECTED REGIONAL CHAIR OF NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FOREIGN STUDENT ADVISERS

EDMOND, Okla., Nov. 5 -- The University of Central Oklahoma issued the following news release:

The University of Central Oklahoma International Student Adviser Glenn Freeman will serve as the newly-elected chair for the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers (NAFSA)/Association of International Educators Region III.

As chair of Region III, which encompasses Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, Freeman will be responsible for the operation and advancement of the association.

Freeman has served as the Oklahoma state representative for NAFSA for the past two years, has been active with the association for more than 10, and is also a deputy whip for NAFSA advocacy in Oklahoma.
