Article: Federal Register: FAA Issues Final Rule about Airworthiness Directives (DOT)

WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- FAA has issued a final rule called : "Airworthiness Directives; Saab AB, Saab Aerosystems Model SAAB 340A (SAAB/SF340A) and SAAB 340B Airplanes."

The final rule, published in the Federal Register on Nov. 6 by Stephen P. Boyd, Acting Manager, Transport Airplane Directorate, Aircraft Certification Service : "We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the products listed above that would revise an existing AD. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) originated by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product.
