ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 7 -- Jirou Hayashi, Ama-gun, Japan, has developed an on-vehicle motor control device. The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,610,990 on Nov. 3.
The patent has been assigned to DENSO Corp., Kariya, Japan.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An on-vehicle motor control device includes a power switching circuit disposed on a circuit board to supply current from a battery to a motor, a microcomputer disposed on the same circuit board that controls the power switching circuit in a PWM control mode to minimize the difference between the current supplied to the motor and a preset current.
