ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 7 -- Mary Nielsen of Eagle, Idaho, and Huanzhao Zeng of Vancouver, Wash., have developed a method for determining composite grays. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,612,915 on Nov. 3.

The patent has been assigned to HP Development Co. LP, Houston.
