ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 7 -- David A. Grabelsky of Skokie, Ill., and Michael Homeier of Lake Forest, Ill., have developed a method for rerouting IP telephony call information. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,613,170 on Nov. 3.

The patent has been assigned to 3Com Corp., Marlborough, Mass.
