ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 7 -- Rolf E. Swenson and Michael Tweedle, both of Princeton, N.J., Palaniappa Nanjappan and Kondareddiar Ramalingam, both of Dayton, N.J., Natarajan Raju of Kendall Park, N.J., Edmund Marinelli of Lawrenceville, N.J., and Karen E. Linder of Kingston, N.J., Enrico Cappelletti of Sergno, Italy, and Luciano Lattuada of Bussero, Italy, have developed gastrin releasing peptide compounds for use in diagnostic imaging . The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,611,692 on Nov. 3.

The patent has been assigned to Bracco Imaging S.p.A., Milan, Italy.
