ST. LOUIS, Mo., Nov. 5 -- The University of Missouri at St. Louis issued the following news release:

Rita Csapo-Sweet, associate professor of media studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, has researched and curated a Bosnian Sidebar for the 18th annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival.

The program will feature an overview of contemporary Bosnian cinema with screenings of feature, short and documentary films. Award-winning director Faruk Sabanovic will show clips from his films and discuss his work. "Snow," a movie Sabanovic co-wrote and served as art director, is a nominee for the St. Louis Film Critics Under-the-Radar Award and will be screened twice during the ...
