OGDEN, Utah, Nov. 9 -- Weber State University issued the following news release:
On Nov. 7, the Weber State University community lost beloved electronics and engineering technology professor Robert Summers, who died suddenly of a heart attack at age 65.
A tribute celebrating his life will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, from 1-4 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Lair. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been established in his name.
"He is irreplaceable," said William Clapp, chair of the Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology. "He was one of our best professors. He cared more for students than anybody I have ever known and was always there for them."
