ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 10 -- Josephus Jacoubs Henricus Maria Allefs and Marina Woutera Maria Muskens, both of Emmeloord, Netherlands, and Edwin Andries Gerard Van Der Vossen of Utrecht, Netherlands, have developed a fungus resistant plant. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,608,751 on Oct. 27.

The patent has been assigned to Kweek-En Researchbedruf Agrico B.V., Emmeloord.
