There is a passion, a drive that moves gifted people to lead others. Not all individuals have this quality, but those who do have learned to use that gift more effectively. Juan C. González, vice president for student affairs at the University of Texas-Austin, and Texas Secretary of State Esperanza "Hope" Andrade both have the gift to lead, and both shared their thoughts on the subject of leadership at an event earlier this year hosted by the University of Texas-Austin.
The 2009 Leadership Symposium, "Exploring Our Roots, Conquering Our Obstacles, Expanding Our Opportunities," offered innovative ideas and tools to help participants become more effective and efficient leaders. Both ...
