SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Nov. 9 -- The Southern Illinois University School of Medicine issued the following news release:

Southern Illinois University School of Medicine has honored 136 employees in Carbondale, Quincy and Springfield, for a total of 2,270 years of service.

A thirty-five year award went to Diana Smith, office administrator in pharmacology.
