Article: BOISE STATE FIRST QUARTER TOTAL FOR EXTERNAL RESEARCH, GRANT AWARDS INCREASES 77 PERCENT OVER PREVIOUS YEAR

BOISE, Idaho, Nov. 10 -- Boise State University issued the following news release:

Following a record-breaking year for research program grants in fiscal year 2009, Boise State University has recorded its highest quarterly total in school history with $16.1 million in external grant awards for the first quarter of fiscal year 2010. The figure marked a 77 percent increase from the $9.1 million in research grants last year from July through September.
