ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- Nicholas A. Matiash, Oshkosh, Wis., has developed a drive roll release mechanism. The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,615,723 on Nov. 10.
The patent has been assigned to Illinois Tool Works Inc., Glenview, Ill.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A drive roll release mechanism is rotatable about an axis of rotation and includes a drive roll carrier body having a carrier body sidewall adapted and configured to accept a drive roll thereon.
