ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- Kudo Michiharu of Kamokuru, Japan, and Qi Naizhen of Zama, Japan, have developed a setting apparatus. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,617,520 on Nov. 10.
The patent has been assigned to IBM Corp., Armonk, N.Y.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A setting apparatus sets any of authorization for and prohibition of access to data with a hierarchical structure.
