ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- Majd Zoorob of Southampton, Great Britain, James McKenzie of Flushing, Great Britain, and Tom Lee of Basingstoke, Great Britain, have developed a pyramidal photonic crystal light emitting device. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,615,398 on Nov. 10.

The patent has been assigned to Luxtaltek Corp., Chunan, Taiwan.
