GENEVA, Nov. 11 -- Paul McDonald and Paul Bailey, both of United States of America, have developed techniques to modify a document using a latent transfer surface.
The patent has been assigned to Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "Techniques to modify a document using a latent transfer surface are described. An apparatus may comprise a document editing subsystem comprising a transfer surface creation module operative to embed a latent transfer surface in the document.
