Article: Sen. Specter Introduces Bill Concerning Temporarily Duty Suspension on Grocery Bag

WASHINGTON, Nov. 11 -- Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pennsylvania, has introduced a bill (S. 2152) to "suspend temporarily the duty on grocery bags wholly of cotton canvas fabric."

The bill introduced on Oct. 29, was co-sponsored by Sen. Robert P. Casey, D-Pennsylvania. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
