Gloria Graham in The Big Heat

The sexiest of the noir stars of the '50s, Graham (best remembered as the B-girl sweet on James Stewart in It's a Wonderful Life) is a gun moll softened by bereaved cop Glenn Ford in this excellent 1953 thriller directed by Fritz Lang. She's hot -- and she emerges as the film's true hero by the end. The movie is one of six in a terrific package, Columbia Pictures Film Noir Classics 1, new on DVD.
